At Conway Stove we take a holistic view of your heating system, which begins at the very top with a cap on the chimney and ends at the bottom with the right appliance safely installed and heating your home.

The Federal Biomass Tax Credit allows customers to write off up to 30% of the cost
of the unit, venting and installation. Qualifying stoves have an efficiency rating of over 75%.

Fuel Types

Wood

Conway Stove Co. offers a wide range of wood stove options from top brands. Many of our models qualify for the Federal Biomass Tax Credit. We have small stoves appropriate for a cabin and large stoves that will heat a mansion. ​

Pellets

Wood pellets are processed wood chips. Pellet stoves offer several advantages over traditional cord wood. They are highly efficient, with efficiency levels over 90%. Pellet stoves have functions including thermostats and timers, so that they do not require constant attendance. Once the hopper is filled, the stove can run for a long time. Most pellet stove owners prefer them to wood because they no longer have to stack and lug firewood. ​

Gas

We offer a variety of heating options that burn liquid propane. These units are easy to operate and can come with convenient thermostat remote controls that adjust and maintain a desired room temperature. We carry top quality gas units manufactured in the United States and Canada by Kozy Heat and Pacific Energy. There are three categories of gas units: stoves, fireplace inserts and zero-clearance fireplaces.

Conway Stove Company is more than a store; it is a service business started over 40 years ago by Channing Synder and now run by his son, Quddus Snyder and partner James Baxendell-Young. ​When it comes to appliances, we’ll help you decide which fuel type (wood, pellet or gas) best suits your space and heating needs. Before we install a new unit, we’ll come out and do a comprehensive site visit and consultation. We’ll make sure that your entire system is in good shape.

The Chimney Man is a full-service chimney sweeping, lining, and repair company serving the Mt. Washington Valley and surrounding areas. We specialize in chimney cleaning and inspection, stainless steel liners, chimney caps, masonry and brickwork, tuck pointing, flashing repairs, waterproofing, wood stove installations, hearths, stove pipes, fireplace repairs, and bird screens. In short, everything “chimney.”
